I left around 3 or 4 detailed messages about playing chess or some other form of gaming entertainment and others left some messages as well…it may have been a combo of both…i guess we’ll find out soon enough…probably mostly the pphone calls though
i dont know if this has been addressed in the other thread, but would there be anyway during this game for other people not making the moves to watch it as it happens, and perhaps cheer? just a thought…
good question…i’ll look into it, but i’m thinking that may be a no…we probably will play the game over a longer period of time…maybe like move or two a day…unless mike can block out a good timeslot where we can just go for it…we’ll see i guess
I definitely want to help. I play chess on a daily basis, and won the 2 minute “quick chess” state championship, back in the day. Count me in guys.

We could use the polling apparatus as a way to have a united ohkee pa move everytime. Someone half decent at chess post 5 or 6 moves that we could make for our turn and then we vote in the polling that is normally used on these boards the winning move is the Oh Kee PA move. If we need a chess mind to come up with the 5 or 6 best moves i can do that I am a chess geek (You know late night internet chess). So let me know.
Is anyone else wondering, “Why 9 Weeks?” What’s Gordo doing in that time? Practicing or writing as “Trey told him to”? Maybe we’ll get a reunion announcement in that time. Maybe he needs some time to brush up, or maybe he figures 9 weeks is long enought to come up with an excuse to not play.
I think that the only reason that mike could say 9 weeks is a phish reunion, there is no other logical explaination.

I am. I thought “Why 9 weeks?” as well. Maybe he’s booked solid, who knows. This gives us time to develop a strategy, figure out moves, etc.
