Anyone going to Moe. in Philly tomorrow night? I’m in town from Memphis for the event and will be down there with my cousins. A meetup will be a must.
I actually wanted to make the trek to Boston and then to Philly… It was crazy of me to think that it would be possible, but I sure as hell tried!
As it turned out, I could only go to the the show last night, which was basically in my backyard (5 min. from house) and let me tell you, the boys are ON. What a great show it was. They were super tight and fucking rocking. This show was better than any set I saw at moe.down. Real solid.
I had never seen Timmy Tucker live and was really hoping for one, and when I heard those opening notes from Rob on the outro jam of The Road, I just got a huge grin on my face and all of my cares in the world went away. They extended the intro bass and drum section and then when Chuck hit the opening notes with his guitar, it was ON. An extremely solid Timmy, one of the best I’ve heard…
The second set was even better! Mcbain> Down Boy> Mcbain> HHH> KARMA POLICE!> MEAT!!! It was fuckign SICK! One of the best sets ever (IMO). I also really wanted to hear a Happy Hour Hero (Because we were at the SARANAC BREWERY, the beer they mention in the tune). HHH was fun and I went nuts when they went into Karma Police. It’s one of my favorite covers they do.
Ok…sorry for that rant/ shitty review.
Point being: THEY WILL BRING IT LIKE NEVER BEFORE AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED!
No need to apologise for the review. I’ve heard from a few people that they’ve really been throwing down the past couple shows. And I’ve only had one opportunity to see them which was Halloween '04, and that was fucking on! Too bad you can’t make it down though, but at least you got to see them last night.

No seriously though. They tore the roof off the place, despite the fact that there wasnt a roof. I’ll have to get back to you with more, I cant think right now, last night was a little too much.
I am seeing them in richmond in a few days and all this good talk has me very excited
