nice, phish played the olympic center in 96, i posted a thread about it no one responded, that must be a cool place to see a show, lake placid is a kick ass town.
this is crazy!!! i have to get some tickets, are they already sold out?
Friday night show, ski Whiteface Saturday and see the 2nd show Sat night… thats what I’m thinking. All the while grooving to the sights and sounds of the town and some bobsled hoopla. Only thing I need is the $300 odd bucks to get me thru the weekend.
As far as sold out I have no idea. Does moe sell out arenas? The olympic center must hold 10,000 no?
Does anybody need any info on good places to stay, cheap food, and places to hang out? because I can help you out with that
I’d be surprised if they sold it out. I agree, LP is a great town and there are some other bands that are going to be there that will funk out the place, like Soulive. Love those guys.

I don’t think it will sell out either. I’m seriously considering going. When the time comes all that are going should hook up on the board here and we can have a ghey ole’ time 
If you guys go, go to the Brown Dog Cafe downtown for some phood, the guy who runs the place is real nice.
I’m in the Albany area guelah. Right now it looks like I’m not going to be able to make it, but we’ll see. I love moe. and Whiteface, so I’m kinda bummed.
ZigZag’s pub often has good live music, and the Lake Placid Brew pub has excellent craft brews and food.
yup both excellent places acoop… yea after the albany junction it’s smooth sailing to exit 30. Anyway on my first time up there I noticed an exit for Glenn Falls , sight of the Halloween 94 show… Never new it was that far east… thought it was more in the buffalo area. Also cafe rustica and there is a mexican place up in that shopping center outside of the main town. These are all great places and there is so much else to do, skiing, bobsled rides… its also nice in the summer…
Everyone should go I’m probably going to, changed my mind, tix are relatively cheap and I love the area.
The more and more I hear about this festival the more I want to go. Everyone Orchestra, Soulive, skiing at Whiteface, hippie chicks and cold nips! Hook it up!

this show was great, at whiteface. Everyone was groovin and it was like 10 degrees and the band were all wearin ski masks. oh god was that fun. dancin to those tunes… sheesh.

Listen to Assembly of Dust People!! This was the best musical moment (aside from phish) ever for me. I had such a great time at this festival, everyone is so friendly (knew that already from spending a lot of time in Lake Placid, maybe thats why this fest was so amazing, because it was very personal to me). The music, the people (who are very friendly) The set at the mountain, the packed lodge for Tea Leaf Green!! All so good. It was so much fun. Just download all of the sets from everyone, and go next year, anytime go to lake placid it is an awesome town.
