phish has many lyrics that are very creative and one of a kind. and silence contagious in moments like these, is one of my favorites. stare into the lion’s eyes and if you get the candy, you’ll get to the surprise from ween’s don’t get too close to my fantasy, and many other bands that i am unable to remember now that i am writing this, have one liners that are amazing. any thoughts?
reba is one of my absolute favorite phish compositions and is easily my favorite lyrically (as much of a rush as i get from the scream into boy, man, god, shit, wudmtf, my love for those types of phish lyrics certainly deserves a different category…)
I love the lyrics of Esther. The lyrics tell a tale that only Phish could conjure and give the listener a visual in your head unlike many songs I’ve heard. I can definitely see where people are coming from when they match the song to some dark, black and white animation.
