This is a joke thread, right? How can anyone really be ashamed of listening to any type of music if it gets you going. Only musical elitist and snobs would try to make you ashamed of what you listen to.
That being said, I liked disco music. If I didn’t, I might have never found Marie under that mirrored ball on the dance floor.
i wouldn’t say i’m ashamed of listening to anything. If i like it i like it.
i have a wide array of friends so people make fun of me no matter what i’m in to. People make fun of me for liking Phish, the Dead, Pearl Jam, Stephen Stills, Bruce Springsteen, U2, the Misfits. I enjoy a bit of old Guns n Roses and i have friends that love G nR and friends that think it sucks ass.
its all a matter of opinion and nobody has the same one as anybody else.
but i would be ashamed of liking 3 Doors Down. They just suck so bad.

&nd I’d never been proud of proclaiming that I’m a huge KISS fan - until recently. I kinda came to terms with the facts. You like who you like, and they’re all good, and they all suck too. But yeah, KISS kinda sucks in a more special, thorough sorta way.

my buddy dave was “Ace” in the KISS tribute band KISSTORY for a few years. he had to quit due to addiction to pills, which i think is awesome.

There is absolutly no reason to be ashamed of listening to KISS, they are one of the most smoking and fire breathingest bands ever. Also Duran Duran is awsome, I have been listening to them pretty much my whole life…If you get a chance check out the Video DURAN DURAN at scope out the unedited videos for the Chauffeur and Girls on film…most excelent
There’s been threads like this before but I’m a big fan of Madonna, The Bangles, and ABBA (I think ABBA is vastly underrated…the folks were decades ahead of their time). I also like numerous cheesy 80’s songs…not the band itself but just a cheesy song or two. You know, like Amadeus, When Smokey Sings, One Night in Bangkok, that kind of thing. And I also like Dave Matthews Band which is a sin around here. Same with Bisco apparently. LOL

Not to say that this is not a good thread or you should stop posting in it or anything. Sometimes I see a new thread that is like a thread I’ve seen before, so I try to find the link for everyone else.
wow, that thread got a bunch more responses than my thread! btw, how did you find that link? or actually a better question I have been wondering about, how would I go about looking up all of the threads that I have created? I know there is a way to look up posts, but what about all of our threads? like, say I wanted to find a thread that I made back in March, how is that done?

When a person begins to speak about a subject and then works in the lyrics to a certain theme song, the origins of the term originate in West Philadelphia where I was born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days, chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool and all shootin’ some b-ball outside the school when a couple of guys who were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood.
