Bill, you know I respect you like you’re a part of my family, but did you just badmouth Raffi? That man was a huge part of my childhood. Baby Beluga, Down by the Bay…these songs defined who I was to become. He is a Canadian legend, and gave kids some good wholesome folk music entertainment. It’s Raffi man…you Americans aren’t even supposed to know about him, let alone cast judgement.

Of course I don’t, but if that’s his old xmas album from 1983, I still have that on tape. I used to listen to that all the time as a kid. Yeah, of course I couldn’t listen to it now, but it’s not the worst thing that a young kid could be listening to.

they play this fucking christian contemporary christmas music at my work and it makes me want to burn down churches. But i think that having to listen to a Top 100 radio station all day would suck really really bad. like having to listen to a KISSFM station. dear god.

For some reason when I got to the office today, my coworker had selected the country hits channel. I cannot get over how ridiculous this music sounds, that there are people out there shamelessly lovin’ it, and probably without the nausea. Thankfully I had to drive for work today, so I left the office for nearly half my shift, listened to some straight up quality rock and roll nice n’ loud.
I got back to the office at 2. She shut off the radio at around 4:30 and at that moment, I swear my entire brain chemistry changed and the whole world became different.
