my '97 prayer has been answered!

I believe it is also Brett’s favorite show.

You two get a room!

I actually just listened to this show this week, so I will check it out again while it is fresh in my mind.

This show rocks, plain and simple.

One question though… where does it say this is remastered by Shapiro?

The copy I have, while not amazing by any standard, does this show quite well.

from www.phishthoughts.com:

"Another piece of hard work by Paul Shapera Gwynne-Craig, he has remastered, in my opinion, one of the best Phish shows of all time from start to bottom., If you don

Who is Paul Shapera Gwynne-Craig?

^yeah i think i just read that and in my excitement i saw Paul Shapiro. oh well.

I’m not going to call the hospital because you won’t learn anything if I do.

^haha, oh Neil, i actually chuckled out loud on that one.

I COL’D!!!

Good news and yes this is one of my FAVORITE shows, at least favorite second sets. 5th row baby!!!

i remember my source not being very excellent either. however i do remember the twist->piper (or is the other way around) being nrrrrrrsty

I downloaded it from the link on phishthoughts.com. Tweezer was screwed up for about the last 5 minutes, it kept skipping. Anyone else have this problem?

I really ought to dig out my '97 Fall review thread, because I seem to remember that second set is pretty bonerz. The first set Gin is also quite…delish, if I recall.

Paul Shapiro… is that Kevin’s brother?

:stuck_out_tongue:

^wow. i am dumb :-/

yeah i had that same problem. he’ll probably re-upload it soon.

Ok, it says now that the Tweezer was fixed. I haven’t listened to it yet to confirm that, though.

BOLD statement my friend. You beat me to it. This source is incredible. He also redid 11/22 which beats out my jason sobel transfer… by a lot. And jason does excellent work. I made a thread about it, you can find the link to that one there… SICK show though is right. I would’ve much preferred to see it versus the next night get released by LivePhish, but oh well. It’s so impossible for me to pick a “favorite” phall '97 show, much less favorite phish show. 11/17 I, 11/21, 11/22, BEK from 11/23, YEM and ghost from 11/28, THE JIM of course, wolfman’s from 11/30, mike’s groove from 12/02, 12/03, 12/09 simple, 12/11 II, I mean the shit is stacked. Too close to call for me.

Amazing show!

You left out what I’m starting to see as perhaps the most oft-overlooked show of that tour…

sick show indeed Got a good quality recording of it off of phishows.com in seconds. Goes straight to you music player.

12-6-97 and 12-7-97 most epic 48 phish hours in history? I’ve actually never heard this show but i’m listening to it right now and wow.
