I know its early but my 6yr and I were just talking about the newly announced moe. show on October 30th in Albany NY. He told me that he would only go if he could dress as Fishman. LOL. After asking him if he was really serious, now comes the part of finding him the costume. Any ideas where I would be able to find one in his size? I wish I was a little better at sewing because I would just make him one but my skills are not that great.

donāt worry my son plays with his sisterās dolls and wears pink. . .I wonāt judge you). You can also get a blue gray die. Iād paint the orange circles on after. Iām sure walmart would have the paint and probably RIT die too.

thank you for the idea of dying a white dress and then painting the circles on it. I was looking at pictures all night complicating the hell out of it. I think the painting idea is more fun anyways because he would be able to help. I will definitely post some pics once we complete this adventure. Since hes dressing as Fishman I will
need to think of an equally awesome costume. With being 6 months pregnant at the time hopefully I can come up with something good.
I am glad as well that the moe. show is on the 30th, we missed moe.ween last yr because of it being on the 31st. We came home after trick or treating and listened to Festival 8 live so it wasnāt a complete loss. 
I was thinking about making a fishman one-z after seeing them at the SPAC show (how cute would a baby look in that) so it was fresh on my mind. The āRealā way would be to batique it, with wax and multiple dye dips but that is WAY too much work. My wife was worried that a baby might chip off the paint and eat it.
Last year we took the kids out at 4:00 to trick or treat, diner at 5:30. Then left them with my parents. I only live 15 mins from Albany so it worked for usā¦ The oldest was 3, so it wasnāt a big deal. Heck because of the Phish show we told them Father Day is this Sunday. At some point theyāll catch on but for now
Usually my 6 yr old goes to shows with my fiance and I. When it doesnāt interfere with his dadās weekends. He has seen phish once and will be going to CMAC with us next week. He has seen moe a few times and even went to moe.down with us last yr. Lucky for you that you were able to attend the moe.ween show last yr. I have listened to it and it was definitely really good.
My son actually suggested that we make a fishman dress for our baby that is coming in January. I definitely saw them on shakedown last yr at the Darien show. I know for sure that I will be ordering the phish hat for our baby from dry goods. I am going to keep it a surprise from my fiance until after the baby is born and then slip it on itās head (not sure what we are having yet

no on the moe. Summer is busy for us. I missed Saranac brewery show and will miss Tuesdays show too (both phish and moe).
Weāre hitting up Grassroots in July (Donna the Buffalo) and moe.down (11 years straight). My kids are skipping the down this year cause my sister is due that weekend so theyāre being shipped to the other grandparents (my folks usually come with us and camp off site with the kids).

We will be at both shows this weekend, pretty excited about it. Love nothing more than a hometown moe. show. 
We missed the brewery shows as well this yr, the 1st time in a while for my fiance but we had just come back from summercamp and were low on funds. Plus couldnāt keep taking every weekend off from work. We will be heading to moe.down this yr. Not sure how it will be in the new place but I have seen lots of pictures of the guys checking it out and it does look pretty sweet. My son will not be going this yr because its his dadās labor day this year. 
How did that work out with camping off site? where do they camp? We have talked about maybe taking my mother in law along once we have the baby to help out. It wasnāt bad taking my son at all. He is such a good kid and I was able to still have my fun. He slept thru the entire moe shows at night. He loved walking around during the day and checking everything out. He even wanted to move up closer when we were watching Cake. He was also about 4 people back from the front for Umphreyās Mcgee.

We camped at Whetstone State Park, last 4 years. Loved it, and even w/out the kids if it was in Turin weād be camping there for the weekend. Something about having bathrooms, showers, and peace and quite for sleeping that just make the weekend more enjoyable. 1st year we did it we came back one night to find Violet in a snow suit in her crib. . . my dad said something like āyour mom was cold, Violetās been sleeping greatā. Weāre going to scope out places near by when we go this year.

I LOVE THAT ONSIE! I am definitely going to get that. This baby is going to have more band tees than my fiance and I combined.
I am going to check out that state park, its sounds really nice. I really like the idea of off site camping especially with a baby, like I said my son did well with it but with him being 5 at the time he was a little more weathered for crowds, concerts and sleeping outside. I was amazed at how well he slept outside as well considering how cold it gets at night in Turin. I think that my fianceās mom would be more down for going and watching the kids for us if she didnāt have to deal with all the people and was able to get some sleep at night. Plus we wouldnāt have to pay for a ticket for her. Which we would but it would be nice to save some cash I didnāt know that you could leave and come back at moe. down tho, I just knew you could for summercamp. I am hoping that there is a place close to moe.hawk, where .down is this yr. I am sure that they wonāt move it after this year. After the stellar moe. show last night I am really looking forward to moe.down! Last night was killer, I am sure that tonight will be as equally awesome!
That park is near the old location. . .would be a long drive to this yearās spot. Iāll check a map too, I think we have the detailed town by town one for that part of the state.
The only time it didnāt work well is when it got so muddy it was impossible to get the cars in/out.

If you find a camping place close to moe.hawk would you let me know please? The shows this weekend were KILLER! Friday I think was better than Saturday but both were great. Next up Phish at CMAC! Cant wait. My little guy is super excited too!
