NAME THAT JAM #6 [REVEALED]

Damn, whatever this is, it’s fucking amazing!! It’s really good quality, too, so it’s either soundboard or a damn good AUD tape…

I don’t hardly hear any Trey in it and my gut reaction is that it’s '99 or after. Kind of sounds like a Moma Dance jam to me…?? 2/26/03 Moma Dance…??

^

Without reading his post yet, Greg pointed out one I thought it was right away.

I’m stuck deciding between 2003-02-26 Moma Dance and the 1999-12-13 version.

Haven’t heard either in a while… So it is just a complete guess.

maybe if i listend to the band you guys are speakin of i would know!

Huh??

wha?

It’s not a Moma Dance and it’s not post hiatus.

It’s gotta be '99 or '00, I FEEL IT.

Hmmm yeah I just caught the 2/26/03 Moma Dance on LPR. Still a great jam…

Now that I listen to it more carefully, that really does sound like a “Moma Dance” jam!

Not “Moma”…pre-hiatus…hmmmm…

My 2nd guess is “Cities” from 9-24-00, even though from what I recall that particular version of “Cities” is really spacey as opposed to this funky-ass jam.

I was listening to this last night and I think it might be a Meatstick. I don’t know of any of the jammed out versions from '99 or '00, though, since the only ones I’ve heard are 9/18/99 and IT.

It has got to be a Black Eyed Katy.

Which one though, I do not know.

NYE Run '97.

At the risk of embarassing myself, it doesn’t sound like any of the BEKs. I’ve heard them all, too, and I don’t remember any of them sounding like that. Mike’s bass tone makes me think of '99 and '00 to boot.

Whatever it is, I’m definitely curious to find out.

It’s got a crunchy little groove going.

it is…

THE 12/15/99 FREE!

I honestly combed over the setlists from '99 and '00 and looked for anything that said “Trey on keys.”

Nicely played.

i LOVE 12/15/99…definately the most underrated show of the year. GREAT DWD, Free, Gin, Wolfmans, YEM and Halleys…the Maze is no slouch either.

Huh. Aren’t you supposed to, like, give us hints…and then if we still can’t get it, you reveal it??

I was hoping for a clue, too…

But he did give us 5 days, though.

“prize…you pick a tour and I’ll “create” a set using the best stuff from that tour.”

Well, will you still do this even though nobody won?? I like when people do ‘tour mixes’ because it highlights a lot of stuff nobody has heard. It’d be apropo to do a fall '99 mix, methinks.

Well, WILLY was only 2 days off on one of his initial guesses, although he did have the wrong song.
