Hey Alex,
I’m Marianne,
aren’t you one of Ian’s bandmates or something?
my name is Bartholomew.
but most people call me Jeremy.
hello Alex.
Hello, Jeff, Thom, Will, Devin, Marianne and Jeremy! Nice to see your names
I am Ian’s pro evo copmadre, battlefield squad member, smoking buddy, amp carrier, mind reader, free calls manager, tibetan prayer flag giver, fishermans friend, lamb and mint sauce team member, real doll admirer, Stanfield lover, mutual father appreciation…er, and many other things, but I am not one of his bandmates.
Hi Alex I’m Kevin, and although I like to parade around as Dr. David Banner and Del Frye these days, my real username is hosemasterflex. Often I’ll have my name right in the signature, but I’m currently using an alias as I try and address my very serious Gamma Radiation condition.
I’m Stevo. That’s why it says Stevo at the end of my posts.
Stevo
speaking of people named Kevin, there was this kid, Kevin Layman, i went to high school with. he had a temper on him. especially when you said his name backwards: Nivek. he’d completely lose his shit and throw whatever he had in his hands at the time at you. i have a permanent tattoo on my chin from catching a pen from him once. i never called him Nivek again.
When you spell my name backwards, you get a form of security interest granted over an item of property to secure the payment of a debt or performance of some other obligation.

yes, my actual name. Not Henry. Not Hardware.
nice to meet you Alex you seem cool. Listen to more Phish though.

Hello Alex, I’m Allison,or Alli if you’d like… pleased to meet you.
what you’ll find here is a bunch of very well-meaning, sometimes odd but always entertaining and supportive people you will probably, for the most part, never meet… much to all of our dismay. I’ve made some very nice acquaintances and even some probable lifelong friends on here, and have also learned that you CAN genuinely care about what is going on in people’s lives that you’ve never met before without becoming one of those freaky people who talks about their “online friends”. Before I came here I thought that was either A) impossible, or B) the epitome of gay. Now I know it actually can be done. It’s our very own little corner of the net where we can come and laugh with each other about the happenings of our world.
Oh, and we can all love the magnificent band called Phish together…that’s another plus.
At any rate welcome, and I hope to see you around the board. Cheers.
Giuseppe.
Middle is August.
That’s that.

Hey Alex, I’m Dan.
Hey Alex and everyone I’m Tad. I too just started on this board much like you Alex. I never fully introduced myself as well. I found the link to this site on phish.net and checked it out. By just checking it out briefly I realized that there was interesting and good topics both Phish related and non-Phish related. Pretty much every thing I’m interested in is discussed on this board whether it is the greatest band, sports, or just random stuff.
Hey Alex (and Tad too!)— Welcome to the board. I’m Jeff, and I used to be an OKP junkie but after having a daughter and going back to school, now I’m lucky if I can check in a couple times a week. These are (for the most part) the coolest folks you could ever hope to find on the internet. Hope you guys enjoy the breeze…
Hi again to everyone! Cheers for the replies. I’m just dropping in during my online class. This thing is a bit of a joke, it takes everyone so long to reply in the chat room and is only an hour long so not a lot gets done.
I do need to listen to more Phish, I had done in the past but they never really clicked, Ian said it was a nice community so here I am and have since listened to quite a bit. It’s the kind of music that really makes me feel like me and I never knew it, things are falling into place both in the music and in turn in myself, if that makes any sense to anyone… I think that’s my cheese quota filled for the week. phew.
Glenn, I actually remember your name too, we had a good chat with about The Long Way round when I first joined and mentioned it to Ian who told me.
Allison or Alli, which do you prefer? You stuck out a bit too partly because of your avatar and momma dance being one of my favourite studio album songs, but mainly for being from VA. My ex was from there and I lived there for about a year and a half on and off before shooting up to Cananananada where Devin (hey there!) lives for 6 months. It’s a beautiful state, I really liked it there.
I know what you mean about ‘online friends’ thought, it was a similar atmosphere at a 311 board that Ian and I used to post at… that went downhill years ago though…kinda like the band.
I joined the pa facebook group too the other week but this seems to be the place to be. Cheers again for the welcome guys!
Allo ther mate!
Well, I’m Brett.
Brett’s what they call me.
They call me Brett.
Cheers!! Welcome!
I also go by whale’s vagina.
You know those sometimes odd folks I was talking about? ^ there ya go.
What part of VA did you live in? I live in the Hampton Roads area, but spent a few years living in the western part of the state in Balcksburg, Christiansburg…basically up at Virginia Tech if you know where that’s at. It’s all pretty, some parts more than others… I’ve been all over but I have come to the conclusion that living by the ocean is the place for me, though you can’t beat Charlottesville in the Fall and the quick jaunt up to D.C is a nice little day trip.
The Moma Dance is one of my favorite songs by the guys too… I actually chose the name because that was the first song I ever heard by Phish that I went out of my way to listen to, so there ya go.
Oh, and by the way… Alli will be fine
