Well, from a quick look at NBA.com, it seems the only higher seeds that won their first playoff game were Phoenix, Detroit, and Cleveland.

The Bulls are really 3rd seed but technically 5th. We had home court and were slightly favored!
^^Yeah whatsup with the MAVS? I mean, Dallas fans shouldnt be too worried, but that isnt the way THE FAVORITE should start off its playoff push. I’d love to see GS make a series of it. But I’d be suprised if they win another game. San Anton, on the aother hand, should be a little worried. The Nuggets have talent and depth enough to make life tough on Timmy & Co.
The Warriors haven’t lost to the Mavs this year.
I would love for them to win. I watched the first half of the game yesterday, and they are really fun to watch.

Yeah, I don’t really see Miami getting out of the first round. They might push it to 6 or 7 games, but I don’t see how they can beat Chicago with both Shaq and Flash at less than 100%.
This might be the year where we see a #8 seed get to the NBA Finals (Golden State), ala 1999. I still don’t know how the hell the Knicks did that.
