I’m calling a Hood opener!

^^ They’ll get to Mn in say ohh, 2009… We hope… Damn!

yeah dammit! If they came to Minneapolis I would probably go…

these guys are as close to the real deal as it gets though. spot on playing and their jamming is unique and exploratory…loved’em everytime i’ve seen’em.

they were in minneapolis a year or two ago, at the cabooze. solid show. they gotta give us some more love. i’m gonna send an email to those guys and make sure they make another appearance 'round here.

I like these guys… But I haven’t seen them in two or three years.

I remember thinking The Helping Phriendly Band was much better.

But I have only seen each band once…

So I will just say Phish is the best.

Recently saw them at the HOB in AC, great show, they are flawless at the composed parts of Phish tunes, and their Jams are original in the fact that they are improvising too, though they can’t but help sound very similar to Phish’s improv due to same scales, chords, and such.

I def will be checking out the show at Grape Street at the end of sept., if any other okp peeps are going it’d be a cool time for a meetup and to get a phix.

I was also there, and bought each one of them a shot we drank and had a beer during their set break. They even played a GREAT tune fer me…Cannot remember waht it was now… We had some discussions prior to them coming here. Two of them were in a band named Ralphs Kind from Ill.

Brad, tell them the dude they sent some Ralphs live/studio CD’s to is the same dude who bought them all a shot and beer while at the BOZZER wants 'em back also…

If they like to drink they will come… ;D

i don’t think i’m ready for this yet.

it’s only been about 2 years since my last Phish show.

^go anyway, you’ll be pleasently suprised.

when you walk out of the show you will be tired from dancing for so long and amazed at what you just heard

i was

for people who listen to Phish as much, as we all do, you have to see them. they have so much energy and luv for Phish that they won’t disapoint you b/c they’d be disapointing themselves as well

they played the Culture Room in the past year, forgot about it. I rode past in my friend’s car right before the show started and remembered but kept driving.

meh.

^oh well, more room at the shows for me to dance then

it also had a lot to do with the Culture Room.

damn i hate that place, especially for shows that are gonna be packed, and PHIX was packed. It’s almost unbearable when its packed. I even skipped Mike & The Duo NYE because it was at the Culture Room, even though i can ride my bike there.

if there was a free PHIX show on the beach or something i’d have some beers and go down there, but until then i don’t want to pay $15 to go into a jampacked, miserable Culture Room for them.

^NOTE: this wasn’t supposed to come off as harsh as it did. I’m sure PHIX shows are a blast.

columbus i guess could be possible for me. we will see.

I saw them in Albany last month. Ok with the ‘newer’ Phish tunes. The vocals on Divided Sky were horrible (thankfully short) but the rest of it was awesome. All the gamehenge tunes were great.

when they played in ac i got in for free, and there was a shit load of dancing space, i don’t think many people knew about the show, shit me and my boy found a stack of tix’s right outside the doors to the venue, just sitting there. i still think the band just put them out there to get people inside, which is cool as hell yeah singing isn’t a strong point of phix, but im not going for a sing-a-long, im there to bust-a-move

anyone else goin to toads??

i’ll be at grape street in philly
