Me and my girl want to hit up the cincy show but have no idea where to stay after- any ideas on nearby camping or cheap hotels? having the same issue with alpine- driving back to chi inbetween shows seems stupid, dangerous, and like a waste of gas. where do you guys stay for alpine? any advise would be greatly appreciated! much love! -Andy
^In 2000 I slept in a park in downtown Cinci. I wouldn’t recommend that. Last year we drove home to MI after the show. I have stayed at the Millennium I think it’s called when they have played The Crown (or whatever that arena is called now), which was bitchin but idk if it’s full of heads during the summer shows.
That is one of the reasons I hate Alpine. There’s really nowhere to stay unless you book rooms 4 weeks before tour announcement in Lake Geneva. We booked a place last week and the closest that wasn’t $200+ a night was about 40 minutes away.
After I posted I booked a campsite 30 min away at a place called oak creek in KY, so im all set for cinci
now I just need to figure out star lake and alpine. I can stay for free in Chi so I’m considering one of these shuttles like fanfueled or ray john- anyone know about these? what is the campground right next to star lake?
I remember there is one right close.
Lake Lawn Resort is one of the awesomest places I have ever stayed for a Phish show (Alpine).
