So it sounds like they’re going to keep releasing shows from '95, then?? I thought for a split second the epic year-end celebration part referred to a possible Cypress release, but then I realized they meant NYE95.

When comparing an entire month to a single show… yes.
In other words
Fall '95 releases (especially 12.9 and 12.29) should take priority over Cypress, imo, mainly because I’m pretty happy with my aud of Cypress, and most fall '95 auds are pretty distant sounding.

This show is definately pretty awesome, love that Mike’s-> Weekapaug. I gotta say though that the video is not very good. There are hardly any closeups at all. Most of the video is zoomed way back. The 11/14/95 was much much better than this video. I’m not sure what happened this night. Has anyone else seen the video? Anyone else feel the same way?
actually, i like it when he pulls back and gets a shot of the light show, especially during the improv. what percentage would you say is shot close-up?
^ I totally agree, I think when he gets the lights it’s awesome, but with this video that’s almost all it is. I would say close-ups are maybe 25% of the video at most.
That’s fine by me. I want to see the lightshow more than the band. Sure, it’s cool to watch Trey do his orgasm faces during jams in the IT DVD, but I want to check out the lights.
i would be bored with a Cypress release.
i mean, there are already two great FOB sources, full video and partial SBD’s that circulate for this show. a 14 DVD set is a massive chore to enjoy.
