I think the annnouncement of this DVD release deserves a response from the Man himself.

So, DVDs are all well and good. But where is my Walnut Creek Blu-Ray announcement? HD Phish anyone?

I am curious to know if this releaese will be treated the same as Brooklyn and go into the movie theatres for a one night broadcast???
Kind of doubt it… Brooklyn was live in the theaters first and then again once released…

from the snippets on youtube that Bigb posted, I’m a little wary. The views were almost TOO close-up. I kind of like seeing the whole band or at least two of the four, most of the time. You can see the communication and feel the experience better that way, I think. Maybe.
