I think I improved it, and it’s a better presentation, though, with an updated tag line. I state that in the blog post, too.

I listen to criticism and try to improve what I do…but if you don’t like parody, and text based stuff…I can’t help you. I make 30-60 of each design and then stop making them. Some folks think it’s fun and enjoy them. So, if you’ve got some constructive criticism, or practical design advice, hit me up.
Well here’s the deal, 2 of the 4 or 5 shirts that you made were remakes, whether you changed the color or not. So there is a pattern here.
I’ll give you props on the Kuroda design, liked that a lot. I actually like the text only. The brand logo isn’t your strong suit, but clever saying are!

I have made a lot more than 4 or 5. And again, you are kind of being ambiguous…do you specifically mean Ghost and McConnells? And when you talk about remakes, it’s nearly impossible to run the idea by every person on the internet to see if it’s been done. I never see one and say “Wow, I am going to make that better”…which is what a lot of my critics have said. It happens that there are some obvious ones that work…and “working” may not mean that you like it. lol @ “pattern”, Columbo.
I disagree that logo brands are not my strong suit simply because you are saying that. Is it possible that you don’t like parody stuff? Dunno, not for me to say, but I understand that parodies themselves are not original…what I am trying to do is introduce either new ones i Have not seen (Tube, Undermind, Bug, Char 0) and updated ones (Ghost, McConnell) because I am sick of seeing the same Simpsons and Bass/Reba shirts tour after tour.
Thanks for the comments on the text stickers. Those can be hit or miss, as I find sometimes I end up offending newbs because they think it’s directed at them.
I guess I am taking this time to respond because I get the criticism, I just don’t think my critics understand that it’s fun…I am not trying to reinvent the t shirt here.

I totally like Logo stuff, some of my good friends made some of my favorite logo stuff and I still wear it, going back to the mid-90’s!

Sorry to disagree with ya, Brett, I know how you take the Phish shirts/posters/stubs/etc. seriously, and it can be touchy. You are not in the wrong for expressing your feelings, at all!
