I’m just going to reiterate what others have already said but the way I see it is this board was born out of the things that annoyed us on other boards… The negative talk, the spam threads, the lack of organisation etc. I really believe that 99.9% of the people here (0.01 may have signed up on a whim) want to see a happy online community which reflects Phish’s original intentions - to bring people together in support of one thing and have a great time doing it. Sharin’ in the groove people. Thank you so much for being here!

I’m very new here, although I think I’ve been registered a while. I mean, I haven’t posted much yet or gotten to know everyone.
But I’m familiar with the format being used here at Oh Kee Pa, and I like it. I’ve been hoping for a Phish board in this format for a while. I think it’s one that’s conducive to healthy interaction, unlike what we’ve all seen at rmp, etc.
One suggestion I have is that there be a “Today’s Posts” page, or “3 Days Posts” page, where you can see the active threads, the ones with fresh posts, so we can be more responsive to one another.
I visit a couple boards that use a similar format, and I habitually click the ‘today’s posts’ link to see what’s goin on.
It’s less tedious than going forum by forum, trying to remember what threads you were following.
Just sayin.
But man, this is a cool place to be, and thanks to those putting work into it. I have the Junta skin goin on, got an old show playin in Winamp, about to go look at some other threads, and I’m generally happy to be here.

Reading everyone’s months old comments above makes me feel warm and gooey inside, like a freshly baked cookie.
I just realized that there are links to most recent posts already (in the stats section). But the whole post is displayed, and it’s only the most recent ten posts.
Maybe we could have a link that shows all of the recent activity (3 days’ worth would be cool since one day might not yield too many posts; the board is young!) in a regular thread listing … what do you think? I know it’d make my visits all the more jolly.
