I’ve been poking around on Phish related newsgroups and bulletin boards since '96. Cut my electronic teeth on the chaos that was rmp (anybody here remember CLF and his famous comeback, “go piss up a rope”?). I moved from there gradually to the Phunky Bitches because I wanted an environment that was moderated.

Before finding this upstanding site, I tarried briefly in the PT bbs, and still add my two cents there every once in a while. But the PT has taken over the spirit of the rmp, which I think happens as participation grows.

But the Oh Kee Pa has an excellent “feel” to it and I find its functionality very user friendly. That and the fact that the participating members here don’t seem to bring any attitudes with them when they post here. Very heartening to see.

My hats off to the developers and administrators of the site. You folks have done a wonderful job and should be very proud of your efforts.

One of the great hings about this country is the right to free UNCENSORED speach. Just because you don’t like a post or feel it’s an ad or don’t like the messenger censoring or eliminating posts is disgusting. If a post has no worth it will run it’s course and disappear. If people want to comment then they will and thats what makes phreedom work.

Im not trying to cause a huff, just got irritated when the one post got removed. I didn’t start plastering cause thats just irritating. I really do like this board, alot, you have a cool community. Keep up the good work. (Phor the most part anyway :wink: ) . oh and by the way its a steal phor the $.99 its at right now. $4500 wouldn’t that help shezz I could use $4.50.

In all honesty, I deleted both threads. I deleted the first right away because I thought it was just someone trying to advertise on here. Then I saw the post in some other thread for the SAME thing. I started to get a little peeved. Then I got 'phuch’s PM, and I understand where he is coming from. But then another thread popped up. I completely understand it was under ‘Non Phish Discussion’, but in all honesty, I felt it had no use here.

If you feel you need to reach out to our message board to sell your domain name, you must not be trying hard enough. I really have ABSOLUTELY nothing against Phuch, the only thing is I feel your post to sell something of yours is not what the Oh Kee Pa needs. If I am vetoed on this, I will gladly retreat, but I just felt this was “unneeded”.

ah we have such great moderators, and im not trying to kiss any arse here. ive seen other phish boards that are just cluttered with shit and spam and assholes giving us shit for listening to phish. So rock on brothas! keep on keepin it breezy for the rest o’ us!

I am brand spanking new as a member, and all I’d like to say is this is a very good site indeed. Many forums I go to (phantasytour in particular) have extremely negative and rude members who post garbage. Cheers to Ohkeepa!
