I heard that too…only it was just for the East Coast release. The rest of the country gets a solid 13 track release of unbelievably crunchy originals. Weird.
Steam alone would prob make this album twice as good as joy
Man, people knocking Joy, but that album has some great music on it!

Pretty sure Trey ment next year as in the 2013 year. Phish still has about 15 shows left under contract with RLM for 2012.

Trey was talking in an interview and mentioned taking a break next year (academic year) for recording an album and less touring. Phish also has a contract for 150 shows thru 2012 with Red Light Man. They are at something like 135 so far…so they need about 15 shows left in 2012.
Thanks Keith. Did he specify ‘academic year’? I know Page is having a baby, but babies don’t start school til they’re not babies anymore. Plus Phish class let OUT, BRAH!!
No he said “next year” but fathers (Trey) and teachers might interprep that differrently. Bottom line…we will get a new album in the next year or so and Phish will play at least 15 shows in 2012.
The reason I also said academic year is because all the tours of 3.0 have lined up with Trey’s daughters school time.

New ZZ Top, Van Halen, KI$$, & Rush albums next year too. Supposedly. I think there’s someone else doing a new one next year too that I follow, can’t remember who.
Yeah, i heard the interview and he said 2012/next year… So I take that as well, next year…
New album would be sweet, but plan on a Halloween show, small summer run and I am sure they will play NYE in the same old place again for 2012…
