NFL 2010-11 Season

Browns looked really good yesterday, except for the passing defense. Even Seneca Wallace was almost decent.

I don’t follow football, but when does the regular season usually start? I saw some commercials today for football games, but it’s too early, isn’t it?

This brings a smile to my face everytime I see it… still.

I put absolutely no stock whatsoever in preseason football. None.

That said, the Colts looked sloppy as all get out yesterday.

I have to say my Purdue guy didn’t look so good as the backup. Peyton looked strong in his two series’. They should do the smart thing and let Bob Sanders rest until at least week 14 so that he can be fresh for the playoffs.

hahaha

my favorite

can’t believe that he has the balls to say that the only reason that clevelanders hated him was because he played for michigan.

browns looked awesome and confident. i’m so happy that mangini retired the brown pants.

i was a little suspect about the pass defense, but we were playing against one of the top 5 QBs in the league and i think that eric wright didn’t play, could be wrong about that.

Heeeeeeee’ssssssssss BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

What, you no likie the greatest QB of our era?

Dan Marino might have something to say about that.
And for the record, I have no complaints about Favre’s accomplishments on the field. I mean, I remember that game in Green Bay the day (or day after) his dad passed away, he came out and had a career game. Balls of steel. And the iron-man games started is nothing short of a miracle. Again, have nothing but great respect for him on the field.
But it’s the whole soap opera that’s been going on for years off the field. Just let evryone know that you are too old to go through training camp, and you will be there once camp is ended, and you will join the team in the middle/end of August. See you then.
I really don’t think that anyone on the Vikings are going to bitch or complain about that (well maybe TJ or Sage). He’s earned it. No big deal. I mean, he was able to bring them to the NFC championship last year.
Again, enough with the side show that is the off season. That’s all.

The 4 Time MVP Peyton Manning would also like to chime in on that greatest QB of our era comment as well.

So would Derek Anderson.

:eh:

Bring it on Detroit.

BRING. IT. ON.

(I like whoever made this epic photo used the VIKINGS stadium.)

^

OOOH NO YOU D’INT!!!

LIONS RAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

:shh:

My era, is Montana, Marino, Elway, Favre, Young, and Scott Mitchell thru Brady, Manning, McNabb, etc…

So the book is open, but you cannot argue with a 20 year career, all the major records a few MVP’s, A SB win etc…

Either way, we’ve had a few good ones since the mid 80’s.

if the Dolphins don’t make it I seriously want this to be the Super Bowl.

Colts looked bad last night. Actually the first team looked pretty good for a quarter and a half and then Brandon James (cut) “muffed” a punt and next you know you given up a 59 burger. Our offensive line has been patched up the entire preseason plus we suck every preseason.

I know it’s one preseason game and let’s not get carried away, but if I were a Vikings fan I’d be worried about Green Bay.

The NFC North is Green Bay’s to lose…

Rodgers is the real deal at QB.
