You might want to actually beat Minnesota in a game this year to do that. Or maybe keep Rodgers from being sacked 15 times in a game. I still don’t trust that Pack D.
And can the experts please stop listing the Lions as some sleeper pick? Some clever little reporter does it every year but I’m seeing more and more of it. Please, guys. We have the same O-Line from the 0-16 season, we can’t run the ball and no one can name a single guy in our secondary aside from Delmas. I’m HOPING the D-Line and LBs are better and if they are then that’s the “baby-steps” improvement we could use. And it’d be nice if Stafford looked good too but I’m not holding my breath.
I’m a Buffalo Bills fan, have fallen out of watching and following football, but I always try to keep in touch with how they’re doing.

I’m afraid the Bills are in for another long season. They still haven’t really addressed their QB situation. Chan Gailey is the head coach. Ralph Wilson is scenial. They keep drafting RBs in the first round (although I think CJ Spiller is going to be legit). Did I mention Chan Gailey is the head coach?

People forget that the Jets needed both the Colts and Bengals to not even try against them in the final two weeks to even get into the playoffs. I’d imagine that the Sanchise may find that the league is catching up to him. And I don’t get the LT and Cromartie pickups…“Hey, we demolished those two in the AFC playoffs last year…let’s bring them aboard!!” Still, at least Rex Ryan seems to have a sense of humor about things and that’s always appreciated.
And Go Lions!!..those third-stringers brought the Great Lakes trophy back where it BELONGS last Saturday. You can end our season now. Well, okay…maybe I’ll stick around to see if Jahvid Best can make more defenders look silly.

Looks like Denis Dixon will be QB for the Steelers first 4 games now that Leftwich is out.
Big Ben will only be out 4 weeks now after his ban was reduced.
Well the Steelers are an afterthought and no one is really paying them much attention…That seems to be when they come up big. We’ll see if they can recover once Ben gets back. If your a Steelers fan you would be satisfied with a 2-2 start wouldn’t you?
Yes and no. Given the circumstances at QB yes, but given that the first 4 games are atlanta, tennessee, tampa bay and baltimore I’d much rather be 3-1.

I am pretty disgusted that we cut Sage (a QB who OBVIOUSLY played better in the preseason and OBVIOUSLY is more proven than TJACK), just so Chili could keep his QB “project” that he jumped ahead in the draft to pick 4 years ago. A completely stubborn move. I fucking hate Brad Childress.
You aren’t implying that their issues with the passing game were somehow not Flacco’s fault, right? I really don’t see what’s so different between Flacco and Kyle Boller. They’re both shaky, seem inaccurate at random times and are made to look much better than they are due to a sweet run-game. I’m not sold on the kid.
Don’t count out Dennis Dixon…the dude can win some games for them plus Polamalu’s back and he changes that entire defense. It was actually really lucky that Leftwich got hurt since it would have been a mistake to start him…he hasn’t been good in years.
Yeah, I will never understand his love affair with Tavaris Jackson. How much more does this guy need to suck before they give up on him? And yeah, he’s faster than some QBs but he’s not THAT fast.
And YEAH!!!..The Lions went 3-1 in the preseason!! We’re well on our way now!! (Psst…they went 4-0 in the preseason before the 0-16 season).
