NFL 2010-11 Season

The Vick Era!

Epic Manning battle…

:unamused:

I’m glad to see the Cowboys set on self-destruct. Get fucked Jerry Jones.

And the highest rated QB in the NFL after 2 weeks is…Jay Cutler? :eh:
How 'bout them apples. Wow.

And how about that Steelers defense!
They kicked the crap outta of the Titans.
Steelers came up with four sacks and forced 7 turnovers.
And they held the best RB in the world to 34 rushing yards.

Ladies and gentleman, your division leaders!

Err, yeah go vikes…

Weak sauce for sure. Glad we have no WR, no game plan and a horrible coach!

Was there anything more predictable then Peyton bitch-slapping his little brother on Sunday night. For one Peyton NEVER, EVER loses on national TV night games and he sure as heck wasn’t losing to his little brother. Easiest pick-em game of the week.

And wow, Vikings, I was watching the score of that game and seeing Favre and was saying “what happened to the run game??” Well apparently they DID have the run-game working. Even more embarrassing that the only Vikes TD was when Ricky Williams fumbled on his own goalline. But don’t worry, Viking fans, you get the Lions at home tomorrow. Favre’s gonna look like an all-star. Just look at Michael Vick (though he actually looked quite good)!

And once again, the Lions looked pathetic up until the end when the Eagles defense got lazy and stopped playing. What a deceiving final score. About the only positive is that Jahvid Best looked like a frickin pimp. That dude definitely has a second gear once he reaches open space. He busted a couple big runs for TDs and almost busted a few others if not for a few shoestring tackles. Only problem is he’s all we have now. Ug.

SUPER BEARS SUPER BOWL! SUPER BEARS SUPER BOWL!

was anybody expecting that Monday night game to be so exciting?

the 49ers could be the sleepers in the NFC with the potential they showed tonight.

just want to thank Griswald and Da Bears for taking out those Cowboys!

i hate the cowboys! 0-2 I luv it! hopefully the texans beat 'em then their playoff hopes are squashed

hahahahahahaha

Braylon Edwards just made my season.

rex ryan is letting him practice and play this sunday. there’s no point in throwing the book at him because he will just drop it.

the browns don’t look terrible. they look a lot better than last year. they just need to figure out how to make adjustments at halftime.

ZINGER!!!

Yeah, Isn’t that always the way? The most horrible-looking MNF games often tend to be good once you actually watch them. I remember that Bills/Cowboys game from a couple years back which looked like the Bills would be pounded and they got up big and then slowly blew the game. I guess the Niners defense might have been as good as we thought…they just had a bad week against Seattle. I still don’t know about Singletary as a coach…the dude just looks clueless all the time. Reminds me of Rod Marinelli…in a bad way.

I also like how he’s got the Ricky Williams “I don’t care about my appearance and I’m going off to live in a tent in Australia” beard going. My favorite is how he said he wants to retire as a Jet and yet the way he’s going, the Jets WILL be the last team he plays for.

And don’t worry Vikings fans…it all turns around this week…you get the Lions! Isn’t anything better for a struggling team than playing the Lions.

I didn’t get a chance to recap Week 2 of the NFL this week.

So here goes:

Colts came out with a chip on their shoulder and showed why you they are still very much in the title hunt this year.

Houston is finding ways to win. They had no business beating Washington down 27-10 in the 3rd. This week it was Schaub and his arm winning the game instead of Foster and the running game.

I was completely wrong on Pittsburgh. I can now see them possibly being 4-0 when Little Ben comes back. Their D looks sick nasty. Back to how it was in their last Super Bowl run. I mean if Charlie Batch beats Tampa Bay this week I honestly think Jeff George might be able to lead this team to a 10-6 season.

Sorry proletariat, but the Browns still suck. They might look a little better, but you gotta beat Tampa and Kansas City. I know they are both 2-0, but Tampa might only end up with 4 wins and the same could be said for Kansas City.

I’m not sick of the Jets at all. I’m a huge Colts fan, but I’m oddly fascinated with the Jets. It’s like a trainwreck waiting to happen. Say what you want about Rex Ryan, but anytime I see a pressie with Rex I gotta tune in to hear what the guy is going to say. Might be my favorite personality in the NFL. This past week their was a Darrelle Revis injury, female reporter incident, Braylon Edwards arrest and oh yeah they beat the Pats.

San Diego is going to be a team to reckon with. I have a feeling Rivers is going to put up crazy good numbers this year…even without Vincent Jackson.

Where is this great Ravens O were supposed to be witnessing?? The Ravens got Flacco all the weapons he could ask for yet Flacco looks like he has regressed. Is this another Mel Kiper Jr. overrated QB (see Trent Dilfer, Jay Cutler, Jim Drunkenmiller, Dan McGwire, David Klingler, Rick Mirer, do I need to continue)

Sorry Minny fans, but the Vikings are in deep doo-doo. Can they win 6 games? Brett Favre looks like he has aged 20 years in the offseason. D is still stout and AP is looking solid, but Favre desperately needs Sidney Rice or another receiver other than Shiancoe to rely on.

 The Packers look dominant.

The Saints are still the team to beat in my opinion. They played like crap and still won the game. When the 49ers scored with a minute and change left did you really think the game was going to OT?? Didn’t think so.

Drama in Dallas. Although this drama isn’t as fun as the Jets drama. Jerry “I had ten plastic surgeries” Jones is my least favorite personality in the NFL. I do enjoy watching Wade Phillips though during a course of the game. He seriously looks like a Cowboys fan that just happens to be the head coach.

Is Chicago for real? I don’t think so, but this Monday will tell us a lot about the Bears. The pressure was there last year for the Bears and no one mentioned them at all this year so you never know. Could be Cutler’s breakout year in Chicago. I don’t think so, but it’s the NFL…who knows.

Onto Week 3 Phanners:

Dallas vs. Houston headlines the week!!

argh!

If this is how the Steelers look without Big Ben at the helm,…well, the AFC should be very worried.
That defense is just kicking the crap out of everyone too.

Big game tonight too.
Bears vs. Packers for the lead in the NFC North.

^ I agree…Pittsburgh looks like the best team in football to me right now. Right now is also only September. One play can change a season. A lot of football to be played.

Who knows how the team will respond when Rapistburger comes back?? They stripped him of his captaincy and I think a lot of guys lost respect for him. If he is the same Little Ben you’re right…look out.
