WOW. So far game one is the best sports I’ve seen since probably the 2008 ALCS. Got my old St. Louis Pronger jersey on, my favorite athlete ever. The flyers are playing great, pronger is owning. It’s cool to see the best old school D-man (Pronger) and the best of the new school (Duncan Keith) playing. Lots of GREAT young players on the Ice… Richards, Carter, Kane, Toews, Sharp… some great vets… Hossa, Pronger, Briere… By the way, I think I bought Mollie once at a Panic show from Scott Harnell… LOL

Umphrey’s was playing at Summercamp while Game 1 was going on. I was in the crowd with Brian and my brother was checking the stats on his smartphone. We made a LOT of friends in the crowd near us by giving out score updates to people. Pretty cool when the Hawks clinched it 6-5, UM announced from the stage and the whole crowd went wild. I felt like an honorary Hawks fan.

Yeah, just as I feared. Game 1 was a bit of an anomaly but I didn’t think Philly could keep up the scoring or the offensive pressure. Even in Game 2, once they were down by two, they seemed doomed.
I’m really hoping for a split in Philly.
It would be much better for the Hawks to hoist the cup on home ice.
I feel that way about evry championship. World Series, NBA title, Stanley Cup…
Better/more fun for the fans to win it at home.
So, the Hawks will take game 3, take game 4 off, and come back to Chicago and win it all in 5.
