Of course, this is why you should always watch the ENTIRE playoffs and not just tune in for the Final Round. The final games are almost NEVER the best game. The NBA, March Madness, NFL, NHL, MLB…it don’t matter what sport it is…the finals are rarely the best game (Of course both the NFL and March Madness proved that wrong this year but that’s rare). The Cavs and Rockies still both got swept.

I was gone for the weekend and I missed games 1 and 2. I was really surprised that the Penguins not only lost both games, but also did not score. Game 3 last night was great. I hope the Penguins win game 4 also. I guess I don’t really care who wins the Cup. I like both teams.

Ouch…the Wings looked BAD in the first period of that game…they looked slow, tired and almost bored. Thankfully they stepped it up in the second half and the third to make it interesting. If they play like that for all of Game 4 then this thing is going back to Detroit 3-1.

My brother had a few pics of him with the Cup too. When Dallas won it in 1999, Darien Hatcher brought it with him to some local bar he owned that was a mile from our house. Him and buddy drove home and got a picture of them hoisting the thing. He saw it again in 2002 when a random Wings guy brought it to a bar in Mt Clemens. I never get any luck with this stuff…no Cup sitings for me.
