i just want to say something… i am sorry if i started a thread that was in the wrong place or “stupid”. i am fairly new to this forum and i am trying to figure it all out. i asked for help about if there was a trading thread and someone told me to start my own… so i did. it was not until that time that someone told me there was a special place for this (which is the question i asked in the first place). i am SORRY if i disrupted your board!
that being said… i do not know what “PT” is so i did not come from there, i am not “lot scum”, and i am certainly not here to to cause any rifts. i am an artist and fellow phish phan just looking for some kind like minded people. and i did find many really cool people on here that i connected with at hampton because of a thread I STARTED (and i do not have 200 posts). at least one of these people is now a true and dear phriend.
i think it is horrible that people on chat forums feel some sort of entitlement to boss people around and send rude “PM’s” because they have 20 million posts. i would have 20 million posts if i had no life and could sit here all day and post stuff. this is a PUBLIC INTERNET FORUM. what give you the right to police it? if you have suggestions for people who are new to the forum, then you can give those tips in a nice and kind way. people will be much more responsive to being treated with respect then they are to being chastised.
that being said… please accept my SINCEREST APOLOGY for trying to feel my way around a new forum and trying to make phriends, trade tix, etc…
and, YOU - LOVEITLOUD or Iron Chef or whatever your name is. now YOU owe ME an APOLOGY for your RUDE message to me.

Honest mistake… it was fixed 
We try to keep this place “clean and tidy.”
The only rule we had back in the day was “Search before you type.” And this was when there was sometimes DAYS between posts.
You are more than welcome to come here discuss and vent and even argue if you so feel the need to (not directed solely to you sarstar, this is to everyone), but understand we do things we do for reasons.
Repetition is a terrible thing to read over and over and over again. That is why some threads are locked, with links to the ongoing discussion…

^ maybe you guys need to set up some sort of sticky thread that gives some sort of “rules” to follow. The biggest problem I see, and I’m new here but not to forums, is that people are putting shit in the wrong place. Give them guidance all knowing ones

i just received a rude personal message and it made me mad… that’s all. and then saw the “no starting threads unless you have 200 posts” thing right after, started by the same person who sent me the rude PM… so i assumed it was about me… but maybe it has nothing to do with me… who knows.
and i understand the need for rules… i don’t like to read the same things over and over either… i was just saying there is a nice way to guide someone and then there is the rude way. which is better? nice, i think. and, to take some responsibility, i really should have spent more time reviewing the board and all of it’s “rooms” and functions, etc… before posting anything. i just got really caught up in all the excitement! yesterday was crazy!
i’m cool… and i’m over it. this just threw me for a loop after experiencing so much coolness on in this forum…
and 20 million posts was just an exaggeration and a poor attempt at humor!

^ Don’t worry about it I got bitched at yesterday too, its just yesterday there were a lot of new people that really werent paying attention to anything and just starting a ton of the same threads. It’s no big deal imo Your thread was fine just in the wrong place, but we all learn from mistakes haha
