Now Robert Plant says "No"

Man, why do lead singers always screw shit up for bands?
This stinks.

Plant slams door on Led Zep tour

damn.

i probably couldn’t have afforded tickets anyway but damn.

Oh well?

After listening to the show from last year (and seeing a few videos/clips), it is just a complete nostalgia act at this point.

Page using a ton of distortion to cover up the fact Plant can’t hit the high notes everyone is used to with Led Zeppelin.

With what Plant is doing with Allison Krause, I don’t blame him for not wanting to go back to a band where probably nothing new is going to surface. Plant/Krause is great.

^agreed.

^^agreed.

Why would he want to ride around America for half a year on a bus, just to spin his old tales about just how awesome his d!ck is to thousands of people a night?

Not only is it less satisfying to be a nostalgia act, but it’s surely less satisfying to play to a nostalgic crowd.

As much as I need an audience that wants to hear my own tunes, the reality is that 90% of the time when I do a gig, it’s a bar gig or a party gig, … & they just wanna hear Freebird!

Why say no when it feels soooo good to say yes??

So no doesn’t mean yes?

Phish reunion > Led Zep reunion

LOL! Seriously, why’s there this big deal about them touring as Led Zeppelin when him and Page toured as “Page and Plant” for years before then?. Maybe it’s me but those shows might have well been called “Led Zeppelin”…it’s not like John Paul Jones not being there made THAT big a difference.
