I asked if they were letting overnight camping in the lots for Phish and they are doing it for 50.00 per vehicle!
Where at the AAA? I doubt that… But hey I have been wrong before

Not sure if I would camp at the lots around the venue…lots, I mean a lot of homeless people in that area. There are campgrounds about 15-20 minutes away. I went and visited some phriends at a campground and it was pretty nice.
Seriously??? Camping in that lot would not even be “camping”. It would be sleeping in your car. And yes…not the greatest area to fall asleep in…make the 15-20 min drive dude!! You’ll be glad you did.
There is a great place to camp about 20 minutes south of downtown. I will check and see if I can get the info for you. We stayed there for 2 nights in 03 and it was AWESOME!
Garbage fires, barbed wire seats, packs of wild dogs ala the original Suburbia=AWSOME !! I’ll bring the smores! ( I mean if crack means smores) 
there isn’t really any conventional parking lot around the AAA. there are small satellite lots across the street on Brickell, the AAA’s underground garage, and the parking garage that will fill up in three seconds next door at Bayside.

I’m lucky, though. I live twenty minutes south (and you can see the AAA from my brother’s apt…might just be crashing there…)
if you’re looking to camp during the shows a don’t mind a modest drive, i’m sure you can find some sweet spots in the northern parts of the Keys.
or you can cuddle up under an overpass downtown if that’s your fancy.
My fave was the now closed and developed KOA on Fiesta Key. It had hot tubs and a happy hour! They used to do Dead cover festivals out past Power Line Road in a cow field (good luck on that 1).
