All jocularity aside… The amount of optimism thus far for a Phish NYE PPV is compelling and I sincerely hope those of us who will not make the haaj to NYC on NYE will all be left basking in the warm afterglow of our television set and/or computer monitors come the birth of the New Year, each one of us ‘crosseyed and painless’, exhausted from a PPV spectacular where we all witnessed one more night of the brutal musical onslaught of the Jonathan B. Fishman orchestra…

Anyway, I’m not worried about the webcast. It would be foolish from every angle for them NOT to do at least something. I can’t remember if they did the whole run last year. I think it might have been just New Year’s Day. Either way, my money is just itching to jump out of my wallet at them when they announce. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t try and collect it from us, so willing… Saw the Essex Junction flood benefit and the quality was unreal. Hoodstream is nice, but HQ real time is the shizz.
