G’s Up, Hoes Down!

They don’t have newspapers in America.

Well so much for my hopes for Obama. Anyone who has poor enough judgement to want to deal with Hillary for the next four years is questionable at best.

Stevo

That is smartest move Obama has made yet

She is his only threat for 2012, and with her now on his team he has isolated her politically, while also taking advantage of her talents.(and Billy boy). There is no way she will run against him again, and now Obama has the Clinton’s in his corner.

The Clinton’s have enormous pull overseas, with her representing America & Obama overseas, I think Obama can concentrate on the economy & wars for the first year, while Hillary fixes up America’s image.

This just makes me more hopeful for Obama.

I hope he gets it on with Hil-Rod.

Hillary >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Condalingus Rice

What’s a newspaper?

This appointment is illegal, according to Article 1, Section 6, Clause 2 of the constitution:

“No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.”

The Secretary of State’s salary went up during Clintons term in the Senate. Therefore, she is ineligible.

I think it’s a great decision on is part, and I’m not really seeing a whole lot people who are against it.

I think it’s a smart move on both their parts. Her primary lost marginalized her, and she wants more than being a dink senator from NY. She wants international fame, and it was probably part of the reward for she and Bill not rocking the Democrat boat at the convention.

It’s good for him because it brings all those Hillary supporters closer than ever and as Gamecat said, leave him contentionless for the 2012 campaign which he is already running.

His gutsiest and smartest move was to leave Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense. It’s a bone to the conservatives, as well as being an intelligent move since things definitely improved in Iraq since Gates took over from Rummyfeld. Gates hired Patreus and Patreus has been doing the job promised all along. It’s probably not a popular move with the radical left, but Obama is not a radical. That was only his spiel to get elected. Obama, not unlike Clinton is an opportunist, and will probably position himself just left of center, the only logical place to be for that 2012 run.

Hillary has a vagina according to Wikipedia…

you are teh_failz. ;D

I think Hillary would have had to have held an elected office during Clin-Ton’s presidency to be ineligible…

I would assume this was part of the deal when she wasn’t picked for veep.

Howard Dean for Secretary of Defense YEEEEAAARRGGGHHHH

Article II, Section 1:

“The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. HE shall hold HIS Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected as follows:”

I guess you’d agree that no woman can ever be president then? ;D

More criminality from the Obaaaaaaaama camp? YES WE CAN!!!

dude it was freakin sarcasm… and criminality?

if its so goddamn illegal and theres oh so much proof condoning Hillary’s being elected to this position… well… why did it happen? someone had to notice all the baddies and corrupt things they’re trying to pull right?

get the fuck over it and deal with the new gov’t in 52 days… I’m pretty sure nothing can trump the last fuck we had to cope with.

^Just don’t punch me bro.

Don’t ever believe this. You should be twice as skeptical about the guy who bought you than the guy who couldn’t.

That being said, I also think we need to back away from this shit a little bit. Everyone’s emotions were deeply impacted by national politics and the course of events in the world today. The pressure is really building, and there may be a distinct need to stop focusing so intently and start looking at the bigger picture, and where we need to be as accepted conventions begin to dissolve.

I feel badly for Obama. His tenure in office is going to be very difficult, and there are tons of expectations on him from every corner of this country. Everyone expects him to make it all better and return us all to the mindless oblivion of the Clinton years.

That ain’t gonna happen, and I’m actually kind of glad we have a younger, stronger person in charge to deal with what’s coming. I just hope his inexperience doesn’t create a jeopardy for us all. I’m hoping he has enough intelligence to lean into the professionals who will be able to help him.

I’m with you to a certain extent, Sloth. We should be aware that this guy is not the guy we think he is, but I also think we should let this stuff alone for a while, and begin to heal again into a united country behind him.

^you mean the professional criminals he’s hired to fleece us right?

My question is, who’s going to be the first to give Hilary a b-jer under the desk?
