Last year at the Halloween show there was definitely more folks dressed up than not. That being said, there was this costume contest for MSG NYE tix; but Phish fans don’t really need an excuse to ‘fancy-dress’ (as they say across the pond)!
I will be dressed up. And that’s all I’ll say for now, in case my costume doesn’t show up in time.

Welp, after dealing with some sketchy online retailers, I’ve decided that renting a costume is the way to go for me. It’s gonna be waiting at the MGM for me when I show up Thursday night and they’ll come pick it up on Monday, so it doesn’t get much easier then that. Getting real hyped over here! PHISSHHH!!!

Ok. Im 13th floor room 402 @ MGM. Come on up/down before 5:00 for some pre-gaming if interested. We’ll probably go get in line around 5:15, since we’re GA this weekend. Going down to the pool for an hour so i should be back by about 3:00. I’d love to see you all costumed up.

Haha. Yep that was my crusty costume. I can’t say I’ve ever had so many people want to take my picture. Problem with that costume…it’s way to fucking hot. Ended up taking off the jacket and opening up the shirt for most of the second and third sets…which is still a legit Prince style. But yeah…that show…holy cow.
It’s hard to say right now because I’m still riding that high so much, but i think that was the most consistently amazing show I’ve ever seen. There was not a down moment, depending how you feel about Phish covering Leonard Cohen. So much energy and truly inspired improvisation…i consider myself really lucky to have been there last night. In fact i think every one who was there should be parlaying that luck at the tables today.
