I just got Live phish 06 from my bro for Christmas. I went to open it, and to my surprise the discs were covered in this weird sticky substance. I just sent an e-mail to Dry Goods, I hope they replace it without any problems. Has anyone else had an expereince like this form Dry Goods? This is kinda weird.

I haven’t ordered anything from there in awhile. Actually, I’m not even sure I’ve ever gotten any of the LP series from them. I can’t remember. But overall they’ve been pretty good.

Yes, two or three of the LivePhish releases I got have weirdy sticky stuff on them. I’m positive it’s from the plastic sleeves and has something to do with temperature and/or humidity. I think it’s likely why they stopped doing the LivePhish series in the plastic slipcase sleeve dealies and they now only sell them in hard plastic, typical CD cases.
hey. yeah i just got 11 and 14 today and both had a sticky substance on it. its happened before when i ordered them. havent gotten into these yet as am still quite indulged in colorado 88 which is awesome!
i’ve gotten a sticky disc from dry goods as well… 18 maybe?

My 03 was sticky. It bugged me at first, but then I put my foot down, showed it who’s boss. Now I’m fine with sticky stuff on my LP03.
Yeah I have gotten the stickyness also, it’s still on my halloween 95 discs.

Just find some sort of wipe. Baby wipes, clorox wipes, etc. It will come right off and the disc will still work fine.
Ya, i decided to just do that last night and the discs played no problem. There’s still fingerprint type of marks that wont seem to come off but it’s not that big of a deal. I’m pretty surprised that so many people have had this problem. I have about 7 other LP releases and none of them were like this.
I think this thread just begs the question “would you be willing to pay more for your livephish releases if they came with some Henrietta man juice squirted on them?”
