Hey Everybody,
I’m heading off to Qatar (in the middle east) tommorrow with my parents to visit my sister Liz, and her husband for the holidays. They moved there in August for a project for their company, Bechtel to build a big new airport in Doha.
I’m pretty excited for this trip, its the furthest i’ve ever travelled. Any of you guys ever been in these parts. Chillin in the desert where Jesus was born for the holidays. haha. Happy Holidays Oh Kee Pa and a Happy New Year, I’ll be sure to write you guys!

I stopped off in Dubai for a while, looked awesome. Definitely want to go back someday. Enjoy your holiday!

The weather is beautiful here! We just got back from the mall because my mom forgot her bathingsuit. There was a big Christmas tree in the middle of the big fancy mall, funny for a Muslim country. We also had starbucks.There’s not a whole lot to see in Doha. Its mostly all contruction. This city has so much money they don’t know what to do with it. In the city center there are all these skyscrapers, and none of them are done with construction. Other tidbits, it only costs 8 bucks USD to fill up a tank of gas. If you are caught with drug you will spend 6 years in jail, and if you commit any other crimes they will cut off your hand. Now we’re off to the beach and tommorrow we are headed off for a few days in Oman, a more authentic Arabian Country.

For some reason, I was thinking along these lines too.

I heard if you roll your eyes at another person they cut off your hand. If you scoff, they cut off your foot.
