Figured I might as well start one.
I don’t see any reason why the Spurs can’t repeat, other than the weird stat that since their run with Duncan started they can’t win a championship in even years.

Go Cavs.
We got our asses handed to us yesterday by Washington… on our own court too.
But, it is only preseason.
And we still don’t have Pavlovic or Varejao.
::sweats::

I definitely never put any stock into preseason results - for any sport.
It’s just a whole different beast than the regular season.
With 'Bron 'Bron at the top of his game, the Cavs are always in contention in the dreadful East.
Hey look, Doc Rivers has a boner.

Just ask any of us Pistons fans after we play against any big-name superstar and we’ll agree. Jordan’s rules live on.
And yeah, preseason isn’t so great since the games are mostly decided by guys who will be benchwarmers in the regular season. I like it though since it’s fun seeing some somewhat sloppy b-ball by all the young guys…I need to get my b-ball fix somehow.
I watched Pistons/Cavs last night and it was fun seeing our rookies in Stuckey and Afflalo. both looked decent until the overtime when they turned over the ball every other play. That was a bummer. But at least my fellow Spartan, Shannon Brown went nuts in the OT to win it for the Cavs. GO STATE.
And I’m sure that any time that Doc Rivers looks at KG, he certainly gets a boner…that dude just kept him his job for the next two years at least when he should have been fired before last year. I’m not all down on this Celtic team because the East is THAT bad but I don’t think they’ll make it all the way because Doc is a horrible coach. Too bad.
And BigB would have been happy…they had Pistons/Bulls Game 3 from 1991 on ESPN classic on Wednesday. Even though it’s the depressing end of the Bad Boys and the rise of Jordan (death of the team, rise of the individual superstar) it’s an interesting game to watch…I mean those two teams HATED each other. I love all the cheap shots that both teams had. I swear Mark Aguirre’s goal was to cripple Scottie Pippen. It’s a beautiful thing…we need more teams that hate each other.

Yeah! where’s the hate people! >:(

Don’t forget Coach Walton!

I HATE Bill Walton!
and his ghey son
I think his announcing is entertaining.
He goes over the top sometimes, but so what.
^He’s the John Madden of the NBA.
He always flip flops, points out the obvious, and sounds like a moron.
Plus he hates the Pistons
I like Bill. In a world where most play-by-play guys are terrible, at least Bill cracks me up once in a while. Plus a LOT of the stuff he says is pretty tongue-in-cheek. He’s not the best but is certainly better than many others.
And man…they ain’t kidding about the Pistons #1 pick Rodney Stuckey being Dwyane Wade-esque. He put up a 17-7-6 against Denver (which are Wade-esque numbers) and at the end of the game he just kept rushing the basket and getting fouled so his free-throws would ice the game, also like Wade. I know it’s just preseason but it’s encouraging. Of course, I’m just worried that Flip’s just going to bury him and the other promising young guys on the bench and we won’t see him all year.

GO 'STONS!!!
I am super pumped about the youth on this team. We have the best bench we’ve had since the '04 championship run by far. I agree with Stevo about Flip fucking it all up though. We should have gone after rick carlisle, but oh well.
You had Rick once and for some reason let him go…!
Pistons in the sindy city tonight.
TNT baby!!
GO STONS!!!
I’ve had Rip Hamilton on my fantasty NBA team since the start of last year. Picked him up again this year. Great player. I loved him back when he was at UCONN.
Other than that, the Pistons can go to hell.
Hellz I say!
You have to admit that they are single-handedly responsible for the downturn in the Pacers franchise that started with the Malice in the Palace.
Single handedly?
I think Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson had a little to do with it too.
