^That hurt my feelings you big meany
Sweet win by the Stones on Saturday. I figured that game would be close so thankfully they got it done. I was ripping on Tay earlier this year for not wanting to take shots or make plays but ever since Game 1 of the Philly series, he’s been a monster. Just awesome. Looks like Chauncey will still be out for Game 4…I don’t expect them to win two in a row against Orlando without Chauncey but I suppose it could happen. And, of course, Jameer Nelson said they’re going to win Game 5…nice…
Can’t count out the Spurs EVER. They’re just attacking Chris Paul now and tiring him out. As always, Pop is a genius. Within two games, his team went from dead in the water to controlling the series.

Solid defense at the end got the Cavs the win…
Need to win in Boston now.
Good luck!
It’s possible, to be sure, but unlikely.
Ugh, the second round has been so bad. Only a couple close games and only one team has won on the road in 16 games. I really hope it picks up in the coming nights.
Who was that team?
This was ther case in the first few games but I think things will be closer in a lot of these series…we’re seeing a number of momentum swings.
And seriously…that Cavs defense is just sick. They make every team who plays them look like absolute shit. The only depressing part is as great as the D is, the offense is just unimaginative. LeBron shouldn’t be on point and that’s that. The only guy that EVER worked with was Magic and he was a better passer, a better shooter and has guys like James Worthy and Kareem to take the pressure off him. For God’s sake, let Delonte run point and run LeBron off screens…he’d score 30 a game, guaranteed.

The Pissed-Ons!
Lebron has no regard for human life.
Or his Mom, apparently.

“Sit yo ass down!!” Hilarious

I went to game 5 last night.
Wow, our boys showed up and were determined to shut down that series at home.
Our bench played great, Rip had 32!!! Mcidy Mac hada double double, and Flip looked like an actual coach (at times)
Let’s sit back and relax and watch this Boston/Cleveland series go 7 and have them beat the hell out of each other.
Good times.
wow, that didn’t work well
Can you verify that they actually played “Whoomp! There It Is” over the PA system? I swore I heard it.
yes, yes they did.
jealous?
Nah, just cornfused.
Yeah…I heard that…I was looking around saying “What year IS this??” I remember that was the big theme song when the frickin Bad Boys were having title runs. But at least the Pistons aren’t playing tunes WHEN THE TEAMS ARE PLAYING like the Spurs do. I can’t believe they’ve won four titles in that town yet they still don’t get that you shouldn’t play music when the teams are actually playing. That would drive me nuts.
Good of the boys to get things done. We finish off the Magic AND Chauncey got to rest…now he’ll be off until at least Sunday. I didn’t expect them to win twice without Chauncey but I knew we’d finish the Magic off somewhat easily…they just don’t match up well against the Stones. Their offense centers around Howard making space for the guards but the Stones have too many big men to throw at him so they don’t have to double them.
And is there anything funnier than Ainge getting the “GM of the Year” award? I know he put together that Boston team but…it’s Danny Ainge!!! Shouldn’t his past history be taken into account here? That’s like the Knicks getting LeBron and Isiah winning the GM of the year for it.
Speaking of which, here’s to LeBron and Garnett colliding and breaking each other’s ankles in Game 7 of that series. I still don’t know who I want to win. Boston is certainly tough but LeBron scares the crap out of me and that Cavs D is brutal.

Mike Brown can flat out coach Defense. Everything else though he pretty much sucks at. Of course you don’t have to be an offensive genius when you have Lebron. I see this series going the full 7 and Boston taking game 7. I just don’t think they’ll win in Boston. They’ve had good first halves, but they need to finish the deal.
I feel the same way about the Lakers Jazz series. It is almost impossbily to win in Salt Lake City. Houston did it the first round, but Utah was relaxed after winning two in Houston. It’s like playing 8 on 5 in Utah. There is no way Utah wins in LA in game 7 though. Just not happening.
As far as New Orleans and San Antonio goes I’m not sure. I think it could go either way. I don’t know how significant Chandler’s injury is. With San Antonio you just never know. New Orleans should win this series, but don’t count out San Antonio. You know though in all of the dominance that San Antonio has displayed in the last 10 years they have never won back to back titles. Even if they squeak past New Orleans I don’t think they’d win it all.
I agree with basically everything above. The weird thing about the Spurs/NO series is it’s all basically about David West. The dude scores 30 a game at home and about 10 points a game on the road. It’s all about him so we’ll see how his lil back holds up…cute little bump by Horry at the end of the game…I think all that time he’s spent with Bowen in the last few years is corrupting his brain.

Why don’t I remember this David West character? He went to Xavier and was playing college ball when I was in college, but I can’t place him.
I remember David West quite well.
Dayton and Xavier are big rivals… and well… West is in the NBA, and none of UDs stars at the time are.
