*Breaking News: I’ve thought about the playoff at Dicks idea and have thought of a great way to make this fun and interesting.(thanks in large part to Doug) The top eight in the points standings going into the last three shows will be in a head to head format. The top seed will play the 8th in points. If there is a tie for the last spot or any spot it will be decided on the points scored from the previous show, going back as far as it takes to get a difference.

The way we will score the playoffs will be different as well. Instead of the songs in each set, I thought it would be fun to pick three songs for the entire show and add point totals to them by which song you feel more confident about. 5 for the most, 3 for the second, and 1 for the least. The most points wins, and if there is a tie, the person with more points in during the tour wins until the finals. I think the person with the most points will have earned it. In the finals though we will also pick number of songs, with closest but not going over. If for some reason that doesn’t end it, we will add up the total from the two nights prior. If that doesn’t get it we will go from there. The big deal of all this, is that the winner will actually win something other than just bragging rights. Ill put up 25 bucks worth of merch from livephish or dry goods for anything the winner wants.(27 if you want the roxy mp3s ) Also, second place will win a single mp3 dl of any show on livephish, not a box just single show. Yeah prizes

These rules and regs can be discussed and decided on by all of us beforehand if you guys would like for it to be different. Just let me know.

I’m not totally sure why, but I love this venue. There’s something about Mountain Phish that is just sublime. Asheville, Tahoe, Red Rocks, Telluride… It’s like wine and cheese, man.
