Iāve never seen Bisco so I donāt know. It seems most Phish kids Iāve actually talked to are not big on them. I bailed on the U.S. 1 week after Miami NYE, and moved to S. and C. America. for 4 years. I have been married with child since returning to Michigan. Since 2003 Iāve only seen Ween once. moe. twice, Particle twice (they were much better with their original guitarist), Yonder once, Railroad Earth twice, 2 nights of Dark Star., and the Great Dickie Betts one time. Most of these except Ween were at family friendly festivals like Dunegrassfest.com in Northern Michigan. As you can see that is precious few concerts in over 4 years comparativly speaking with my past of 50+ miscelaneous shows per year. So I heard Disco Bisquits put on a good show. I had a room already for that night. I couldnāt go to Langerado if I wanted to because of work. So now I have a fall back plan for the night beforeā¦ If I donāt hook up with old friends. For $20 thatās the cheapest thing near Hampton. Or are the McLovinsā plaing for $5?
Bisco is aiight. Seen 'em several times. Ween and Dark Star are much better. MMJ put on one of the best live shows ever! Saw Ghostland Observatory last year. They are great. I saw Yonder Mountain back in October. They put on a great show. I can think of about 18 bands right of the top of my head that are better live than Bisco . . .But you need to at least see them once.
Who else do you think will be in town those nights? I always liked a good Col. Bruce show after Phish Atlanta 7-3 and 4 1999, or Moe. H.O.B. Vegas Feb 15-16 2003. *looks to Weens tour dates
