the Great Woods page is finally showing that its sold out for me right now, but that’s bullshit. I tried this entire 56 minutes, at least twice a minute.

I get to do a mini 4 day run, I’ve wanted to do this since 2000 but could never pull it off back then b/c of either no money, school, or just couldn’t blow off any oft previous jobs. Lawn tickets at box office at 10:45am … had a blast (an extremely cold blast) in line yakking it up with strangers, bragging about when I’ve seen Phish, goofing on Dunkin Donuts empties in the clearly labeled recycled drinks receptacle.
I continually celebrated how much better it was to simply stand in the cold waiting, than it’d be to deal with internet or telephone from home. Good times.

Yeah, I had multiple points over the last hour and a half where I managed to get a lawn seat for both Alpine shows. But then it took so long for the page to load the login, the timeclock for my reservation for tickets would run out of time. Plus it didn’t help that I was doing it from a library. Thankfully, Ghost in the chatroom kep me from ending it all. I had this happen multiple times with both Alpine shows…eventually the time would only give you two minutes.
So, sadly, I sold out and got my Alpine tix from a broker for about $100 each. Yeah, I know I’m evil but I don’t care. I’m going to see Phish for the first time since 2000. Hope to see many of you at Alpine. Weed’s on me. Well…some of it at least…
