^I fell victim to that At JGB fall '93 Richmond. It took me an hour to give my ticket away. everybody was trying to trade sex for it. I just wanted to give it away so I could get my '88 Corolla off the lot before the rent a cops stole it because I hadn’t paid the honor parking. I think that counts for being a young spunion. Would never ever do that at Phish without much better cause.
I wanted to see all the dates together, sorry folks.

I’m seriously!!
fuck yes guys and gals. fuck yes.
More to come supposedly.
i just booked a hotel for the jones beach shows. if anyone needs a place to crash for the weekend id be willing to let you stay in exchange for transportation to and from the shows. i dont feel safe driving.
Here are the capacities for all of the venues on the upcoming tour. Just doing this for fun, can’t sleep…
Hampton Coliseum - 13,800
Jones Beach Theater - 15,000
Great Woods Center - 19,900
Susquehanna Bank Center - 25,000
Asheville Civic Center - 7,654
Thompson-Boling Arena - 21,000
Fox Theater - 4,500
Star Lake Amphitheater - 23,000
Deer Creek Amphitheater - 24,000
Alpine Valley Amphitheater - 40,000
It is still mind boggling to me that they are playing “The Fabulous Fox.” Under 5000 seats in that place. Talk about concentrated energy!
Damn, I didn’t realize that Thompson-Boling Arena was so big. Stupid SEC.
i like how asheville is listed right down to the last number… no zeros in there!!
I just don’t get how I didn’t get Alpine tickets.
^^ I know, I believe Thompson-Boling is the biggest college arena in the country. Anything over 20,000 is huge for a college arena.
^^ About the Alpine tickets, I know I didn’t get through either. I ended up lucking out and getting an extra for the second night, but still working on the first.
HEY!
The last time I was there (Panic in late November), it felt really small. But I’ve been wondering: is Phish going to do the thing where there are people behind the stage as well as in the normal seating area? They’re the only band I’ve ever seen do that, and I can only assume they’ll be doing it this time. Sure did feel like there were 7,000 people at that Panic show though.
Yeah, that’s how Xmas jam is. I remember coming out of the smoker porch and hearing these familiar amazing sounds on acid. I walked through a door, and found myself standing right above kreutzmann, mike and trey!! I flipped my shit.
Greatful Dead always sold “behind stage” tickets
Someone’s having a little fun…this was on Loring AFB’s Wiki entry:
The airfield at Loring Commerce Center was used by the popular jam-band Phish, to hold its massive festival concerts, “The Great Went” in 1997, the Lemonwheel in 1998 and “It” in 2003. Estimated attendance was 65,000 concert-goers and Phish was the only band. Fans camped on-site in tents, creating a community of fans that became the second largest city in Maine during both events. Phish is confirmed for another festival at the base, name yet to be determined, to close out their upcoming Summer 2009 tour.
^ ha! that’s funny. i sure hope that happens though!
^^ Well no kidding. I wonder what information they received that caused them to put that up? I sure do hope this is true, but it might force me to sacrifice the west coast shows. (If they ever announce it)
^^ Holy shit! That would be beautiful!!
we should all just act as if they’ve already announced it so they feel obligated to not let us down.
see you all in Maine, last week of July.
