i really love the Boulder area, my sister is a sophomore at CU, my aunt and uncle who live out there used to own and run the bookstore at Naropa University, skiing/hiking is fun… my cousin who is touring with the Dead and who has done work for STS9, DeVoTcHkA, etc got his start at CU working at the Fox theater (prob gettin a job there when i go out)
i got into quite a college selection (UVM, Ithaca, CU, Penn St, wait list at Denver) so it really depended on where i wanted to go, what i wanted to do, and who i wanted to do it with… Boulder just seems so perfect and i’ve never had a bad experience being out there.
but if the rest of the Phans in Colorado are pompous assbags who claim venues like RR is specifically for locals only, it might weigh in on if i want to be a part of such a community.

That’s, like, cool and stuff. Haven’t been to Star Lake since 7/29/03 and Deer Creek since 6/24/04. I’m looking forward to getting back there and soaking in not only thoughts of memories of past, but what the future holds.
