The statements about scalping on the ticket page make me think that Phish knows about what happened to Hampton, and they’re taking steps to keep it from happening. It’d be nice if it was something like failed Hampton requests getting a higher priority, successful Hamptons getting a lower, and tickets being sold through something that wasn’t TicketBastard.

I think that message about scalping has been on the site for years… but Im sure the band knows how hard the tickets for Hampton were and about all the scalpers.
Yeah it would be sweet for us without Hampton tickets to get higher priority than others but that really wouldn’t be fair IMO

i’ve got request in for asheville. if that doesn’t work i’m gonna get some family to try on ticketmaster when they go on sale. i’m gonna ride up there and try at the box office if they have a reserved amount they get to sale. i’m gonna call tomorrow and find out.

I know this sounds selfish, cuz obviously not everyone that wants to will get to go, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be at one or both of the Asheville and (especially) ST. LOUIS shows. All of the other 8 shouldn’t be too hard to get tix to (and its looking more and more like I might do all 8 of them…!), but these two intrigue me a whole bunch.
we’ll see how the fan lotto requests go, and then formulate a game-plan for when they go on sale, I guess…

^Agreed. I’m not sure if I will be able to make St Louis, but I definitely want to be at Asheville. My mom’s bf lives in Weaverville, so I have a place to stay, and possibly someone to get me a ticket at the Box Office if I fail in the lotto.
Trying to hit both Jones Beach, Camden>Asheville, then both nights at Alpine.
St. Louis is the only show I plan on attending. Thank you God.

i NEED to be at Asheville. its where i SHOULD be living, but instead fate stuck me in knoxville…but my mom lives near asheville and i’m over in that area a lot and its like home to me…and i’ll be bringing my sister to her first phish show if we get tix!!! no, scratch that…WHEN we get tix. : ) we’re all getting in, right?
