^that will be some achievement!
so…Who’s getting it? If you already have it, give it a listen and tell us what you think.
It took damn near 3 hours to upload this because my service has been restricted during “peak hours”, so someone better have something to say about this show.
^ Give me a little while. Gotta download it, never heard this show. I’m so excited.
can someone put it on bt.etree?
^ I wouldn’t know where to begin.
One of my favorite 2nd sets from Fall '95. Awesome pick goldenroad! ;D
11.21.95
A great show, and one of my favorites from fall 95, although its very hard to pick favorites with such a solid tour front to back. I
I have been thinking about how this show is a very solid show with great playing and a few memorable moments, there aren’t any really good jams or anything. The snippets of the various outro jams and of course the Bowie are what really puts this show over the average mark. Everything else is very standard, yet this still is a very good show imo. Kinda weird I guess.
Sorry GR… Can’t download the file.
Well, I can, but my internet always resets itself whenever it feels like, and the download pauses.
I got to 97% yesterday, and it stopped. Sigh…
I even tried using sugarmegs, and that site doesn’t work for me anymore either, I keep getting a “Synch error” while trying to listen.
Maybe in our next trade we can include this one and I’ll give my thoughts then.
Well that kinda sucks…but I will get you a copy of this my man.
Anyone else?
Get those reviews/opinions/feelings up here by monday.
Highlights were definately the Simple (best version I’ve yet to hear) and the David Bowie > Take Me to the River > David Bowie. The Suspicious Minds was good, but overall I wasn’t all that impressed with the rest of this show (sorry GR).
Don’t be sorry man…it’s not one of my favorites either…You gotta listen to the last bit of the Mikes again with that segue into Keyboard Kavalry…thats pretty good shit too.
LOL I just caught this part. You sly dog!!
I guess I forgot about the first set fade in/out. Even though they were pretty standard I enjoyed most of the songs, which were well played, and how can you not like a fade in?
Who’s got next week?? I’ll do it if nobody else is up for it.
Giving this a listen right now.
Like me my '95 Phish!
I must say…this show club didn’t take off like the week4paug one, but I’m still happy to do it if others want to.
sorry, i have not had a chance to listen to this baby yet. i’m starting now.
Well I like this show.
I have to state that I love anything from fall '95 though.
Seriously, I’ll listen to anything from '95 and say its great.
Just to many good memories for me.
1st set is solid. Fee is an interesting opener but it worked for me.
I particularly like the Long Journey home, Blue & Lonesome.
The Guyute that follows is strong but the My Friend, My Friend is kind of a bad placement IMO. I think it sucked the life out of the remaining songs. With Dog Face after, I don’t think any song could have brought it back. Runaway Jim is good, but I get the sense that the crowd was kinda ready for set-break, as were the boys.
2nd set is exactly why I love '95. Just balls to the wall. Straight forward rockin without much “space”.
Bowie>River>Bowie is great.
I love the Mike’s Song, but where is the W-Groove?
You can’t complain with the Zeppelin cover.
Great show. Nothing epic in my eyes, but this is the kind of Phish that hooked me so I could listen to this all the time.
Nice review Goldenroad and PHGuy by the way.
I agree with most all of what you guys say.
Can’t wait to listen to the next club release?
I like this.
Were you at this show Gamecat??
