Well, its that time of year folks!
The annual 2 night run at Coral Sky Ampitheatre for the Dave Matthews Band! Night 1 was last night and i successfully didn’t make it.
you see i’ve never intended on seeing DMB, yet i’ve been to like 5 shows. The past few years, i’ve just wound up going to at least 1 of the 2 nights at Coral Sky. It just happens. Whoever i’m haning out with that day always ends up going and i always end up going along. I think 1 time i even rode in the back of an SUV crammed around coolers and chairs. I DON’T EVEN LIKE THIS BAND! Why do i go through with all of it to go see them every year. Its like there’s some power over it and i don’t even know how many times its happened because everybody’s hammered at any Dave Matthews occurance. You don’t even have to drink anything and you’re drunk too. Its why people go see him all the time because they’re too hammered to realize how little each show changes.
Well last night was night 1 and tonight’s night 2. Especially with being broke right now, its extra important that i don’t go this year. I can’t even afford to go to a show that i want to see (CSNY) let alone one that i don’t want to see (DMB). I avoided it last night and tonight i’m on a mission to NOT GO to the DMB show. I’ll just surround myself with fellow Dave haters until at least 9pm. West Palm Beach is like 45 minutes away; there’s no way anyone will leave after 9pm.
Be with me OKP, i really think i can do it this year.
