Phish has played many songs only once. Mostly cover’s but there have been a few original’s that showed up only once as well. Mock song at the Gorge 03 comes to mind for an original. As far as cover’s i saw quite a few “One Time Only Songs” Off the top of my head these beauties come to mind.

My favorite one-time song, and it kills me that they didn’t play it more, is 5:15 by the Who. If you listen closely to those 10/31/95 tapes, you will have to realize that Phish may have never played with more energy than they did with that song at that time. Maybe they never played it again because they got it perfect the first time around…regardless I swear I will NEVER miss a phish show until they play that song again…then I will take a 1 show break.
