So, Bush drops the number down, in order to help out himself, his dad, and friends. Meanwhile, he’s spending 3 trillion on an unnecessary war, and driving the nation into debt.
Now, he’s gone, and we got a guy trying some new things. He’s a free thinker, and maybe not all his ideas are good ones. Maybe, he screws up, and we get another Republican in 3.5 years. Would it be too much to ask, for a little patriotism? A little pride, maybe? You don’t have to support Obama. I’m not asking anybody to do that. It would be nice, though, if we, as a country, could just stop the constant back and forth, partisan, “I’m right, you’re wrong” arguments, and try to move forward together. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that’s the case in the OKP, just the US, in general.
Wouldn’t it be crazy if there weren’t parties, at all. Just people. People with beliefs and ideas. I don’t know if that would really ever work, but one can hope.
yeah, Bush’s tax cuts only helped the top brackets. It’s illogical for most Americans to care about those cuts but… i dont know, maybe people are hoping they will one day be a part of that bracket. The American Dream is to make it to the top, so the people who buy into that dream but are on the bottom… they want to make the top better for when they get there.

I really can’t formulate a position on politics. What I have gathered though, is that our system is really fucked up. The people who seem to have the right ideas never have a snowflakes chance in hell of being elected. This leads me to just live my life how I think it should be and hopefully influence others around me to work towards a better existence and not really worry about politics.
You guys sure are silly. Matt Taibbi is highly credible in the fake progressive mainstream world.
