On the heels of a brand new album, Outformation is fresh out of the studio and singing to a new and inspired tune.
Outformation has grown from a basement trio to a touring collaboration between five talented artists in a very short time. The collective has managed to have record-breaking ticket sales in theaters across the country with only three years under their belt.
Known for their instrumental sonic blasts and dark southern ballads, the formation that makes up the Outformation sound has never been tighter.
The permanent addition of CR Gruver on keyboards and Jeff “Birddog” Lane on percussion has the band blazing new trails on their musical journey. Fitting for the occasion, their second studio effort highlights a number of new songs written both in the studio and on the road.
The new album (yet to be named) is expected to hit the shelves in the spring of 2007 and also features JoJo Hermann (Widespread Panic).
Outformation will be performing a series of club and theater dates in support of their up-and-coming release including stops in the Northeast, South, Midwest and West Coast; leaving no doubt that this is one band that is ready to “go all out.”
