^ yea those googles were interesting. The whole trio was interesting to say the least!
I saw them at the Aragon balroom in chicago, and at Purdue univ. Great to see such legends in such a intimate setting. Wonder if the venue"s would have to be in a bigger capacity venue, if they did do it again.
It was also intersting to see a mix of music fans all jamming out together, having 3 totally different musicians playing.
I guess everybody missed the important quote here…
“But there’s a lot of exciting things going on, on all of our horizons - Phish is making a record right now”
^I think everybody already knows that brah ![]()
I am SOOOO out of the loop right now. So I guess Hampton are not warm up shows.
Hampton aren’t.
Oysterhead seems like yesterday but alas it was a lifetime ago.
Last time I saw Oysterhead I walked out of the show and watched the D’backs win the WS over the Yankmees.
'Twas in Ann Arbor on a glorious fall evening.
More talks of a reunion from Copeland, seems to be about the same thing as prevouis article that all want to do it, but Trey and Les have been pretty occupied, and it’s just about finding the time. Regardless. the wheels are turning. ![]()
^Never gonna happen. Copeland has nothing else going on so of course he wants to reunite. Les and sober Trey are not gonna get back together.
^Claypool was also as quoted as saying the same thing. It would up to Trey I think if it were to happen, but you very well could be right, and may just be a thing of the past. I know some are saying Trey couldn’t play that “role” anymore, I call BS on that.
Oh and
"Trey will never play Vegas again’
I think Trey is ready to get weird again. But I am also in the camp that doesn’t think Trey is sober anymore, for a few reasons. One being that anyone sober doesn’t play 3 rock shows in Vegas. Just my two cents.
…like smoking pot not sober or opiates coke and alcohol not sober? Trey is most definitely without a doubt still sober and will continue to be.
