Hmm… I’ve been contemplating. I’d love to go, but I don’t want to go if all Page is going to be doing is laying back on his keys and letting the band do most of the work. Can someone who saw them at the jazz fest tell me how active Page was in his performance? And did he just play piano or did he break out his Clavi and stuff too?

What’s up OKP’ers? First time poster (nutbag). So who’s going to any of the Page + Porter Batiste Stoltz shows this week? They have a new CD coming out called MOODOO. I guess it’s a compilation of some tracks from the last time PBS played in Burlington at Club Metronome when Page sat in, back in Nov. of 2007. I snagged the single, ‘I Get High’ over at www.doyoumoodoo.com and it’s pretty funky. Hopefully some tapers make it out, cause I have a feeling these shows are gonna be pretty raging. Maybe some Vida Blue songs, or some Page covers? Keepin my fingers crossed…

Hey MARCO: My buddy is on the crew and he said they are picking up a full rig from Page in VT tomorrow with a Wurlitzer electric piano, organ and Leslie, and a few others (clav and maybe Moog?). Supposedly he’s gonna be playing the whole show with them and they’ve been rehearsing…sounds good to me!
I’m headed to all 4 and I’m super stoked about it. See ya at the shows!
