nice… i saw’em this year at jazz fest. page just sat in for a couple tunes with’em, not the whole show. but they rip, can’t beat george porter bringing the grooves! i loved their set down there, page came in and was great i thought. he also came up for a tune or two during the panic set that followed.

If you enjoyed the Jazzfest sit-in then you might really enjoy the 4 shows from this run. Page was a full fledged member of the band for this run which means they were actually doing some of his tunes, he played the complete show each night, and he was singing! They did some Page solo tunes, some Vida Blue tunes, and they even busted out CTB on the last night in VT. It was cool to watch Porter walk over to Page at the start of the set and start CTB rather than Page starting it. You could tell Page was psyched to have Porter call that tune and get it rolling.
