no, it’s much better than 70 volt

theres a difference between mellow and uninspired

I wouldn’t say it was uninspired, I mean the guy wrote a lot of those songs about his divorce with his wife and the band he was in for 20 some years, that to me is inspired writing.

as far as his playing being uninspired, I

Just to be clear, I thought Page’s playing was exceptional, and I love a lot of his lyrics, I thought the rest of the band was uninspired for the most part.

^^Damn wupphl, I wish I had known you were there, we could have met up.

I agree with you on the uninspired thing. I think I was a little too brief with my statement earlier. It really did lack energy though. You can tell that the kids who had seen Phish weren’t all that impressed and those who didn’t were just happy to see someone from Phish playing. I felt good for them, it was nice that they found it so enjoyable.

But seriously, no Clavi? Come on, Page.

for sure man, yeah I guess we kinda dropped the ball on that one. Next time well plan shit better.

About his setup, I was happy because he had more stuff then he did at the World Cafe. I was so happy to see the Moog back again.

No recordings for the next few shows yet, but I’ll put up a link as they surface.

I loved hearing Strange Design in Philly, but damn I wish I had heard Cars Trucks Buses.

Pump it Up - Elvis Costello
Monkey Man - The Stones
Stuck in the Middle With You-Stealers Wheel
Machine Gun - The Commodores
Memories Can’t Wait - Talking Heads

Interesting choice of covers so far.

Looking forward to the Chicago show.
Looks like they will be warmed up good.

^yeah your in for a fun evening, the smiles will be in full force

i still want to hear Page singing “Day of the Locusts” by Dylan someday with or without Phish. All you need is Page with a good drummer and acceptable bass and maybe guitar and that would be great.

some chick was yelling and yelling for that song at the philly show, almost to the point of me about to smack the ho. She yelled it at every quite point possible, he heard her, if he wanted to play it, he would, jeez, i never got that pissed at hearing people request songs, but she was so drunk and her voice was so piercing that i finally asked her to stop shouting in my ear, they moved, damn drunks

Whoa!! I didn’t see Amoreena until now!!

^ NOTHING pisses me off more as well.

Glad you said something Hue.

Don’t you notice that it is ALWAYS drunk girls who do that.
Stupid broads.
At the acoustic Umphreys show I went to this drunk ass girl kept yelling for Sister Christian. They don’t even play that damn song!
Just over and over, even while they were playing other songs.
I had to tell her to shut her trap as well. She said something to me and before I could respond 3 people behind me told to leave as well. She got the point and left.

Anyway, yeah…, Amoreena good tune, glad he played it.

^I remember my friend playing me a copy of the Phil Warfield '99 shows and there is definitely a “Whooooo Hooooo” chick near the taper. I just want to reach inside the tape and tell her to STFU and enjoy the show so that others can as well.
