Pebbles and Marbles

Post Hiatus, lol.

I’ve honestly never cared for “Pebbles and Marbles.”

They could have picked a better RR opening track.

Everyone knows the best Pebbles and Marbles were played pre-hiatus… right?

Uh…no, smart guy.
Just sayin’…Post Hiatus, lol.
a

Uh, yeah…
I was just saying… We get your opinion already. :-X

Post Hiatus, lol.

Damn! It is smuggy up in heah!

the breeze has left the Pa…

The breeze is still here. It just has a rank smell coming from the Northeast!

haha

I’ve said it before…
I suck at life and cannot connect with people on a social basis. My opinions are nothing more than an attempt to gain some kind of edge on strangers over the Internet. I apologize for being so insensitive to all of you for so long and hope you can forgive someone as loathesome as myself.
a

yeah, I can see that.

Yet its funny how I like Pebbles and Marbles and I really don’t like Spices or Discern. Must be a lyrical thing.

I just think that Trey was trying to do to much with the song structure.
IMO, none of them really “work”.

i have just really become familiar with this song recently as i have never actually had a copy of Round Room.

I first “really” heard this song at the Gorge this summer and it was simply wonderful. Just heard it for the first time since then when i Youtubed the IT version just now.

i for one think this is one of many incredible songs they’ve written in the past decade.

I oft listen to discern from Alpine 03. But yes, all three of those song have the same sound. Honestly I like them all, but I LOVE Pebbles and Marbles.

Charleston 2010 version is smokin! Seriously, fans of this song will definitely want to hear this version. It’s a keeper.

Jonesin for this one live this summer…come on boys!

^ I’d love to catch one too. A great song about a prehistoric infant and her glass toys. Really good lyrics… “the faint light that flutters at night to the earth/would land in her eyes and collect.” That’s a skillful piece of a poetry. Thats a sweet little riff Trey plays after he sings in the verses.
